I LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe. I used half the honey and used molasses, only let rise for 15 mins then put in a preheated oven. Omg these rose in the oven and turned out freaking amazing! Thanks for the New roll recipe!

I submitted this review before but it has not shown. Perhaps it did not go through.
These rolls were just as described….and delicious. My family came in for dinner and exclaimed better than restaurant rolls. The issue I need to tweak is that the rolls never browned on bottom. I baked them on middle rack. Any suggestions as to how to get browning on both tops and bottoms of rolls? Thank you for such a wonderful recipe that will be enjoyed often by my family.

My family came in for dinner on Sunday and I surprised them with these delicious rolls. So many oohs aahs . They commented they were better than restaurant rollls…..light, flavorful and fluffy. I made a honey cinnamon butter to lightly brush on when they came from oven. I think this was the easiest yeast roll I have ever made, thanks to you.
I do need to tweak the baking part because they did not brown at all on bottoms.
I used a large, shiny , quality baking sheet for them. I used the middle rack of oven. Should I maybe lower the rack one space to get browning on both top and bottom? It’s the only tweak I need to do …..and I have the perfect yeast roll!

I finally tried your recipe. It took me a long time but the final product is absolutely delicious. I was not prepared for the rolls being this big! Thank for sharing.
