MADE THIS FOR A SIDE WHEN I HAD COMPANY FROM TEXAS, EVERYONE LOVED IT AND SAID THEY HADN’T MADE IT IN A LONG TIME. BUT WILL DEFINATELY MAKE IT SOON.

I also add a shake of pepper flakes. In addition I often add a splash of chicken broth near the end just to deglaze my pan and bring all the flavors together! At our house we add a dash of pepper vinegar before we begin to eat! We are total Irish at our house so this recipe is a hit as a side or with boiled potatoes and ham!
