Part or Full-Time Non-Paid Intern Positions Available
The Hollywood Hill is a new 501(c)(6) trade association that services Hollywood's rising generation of entertainment professionals and talent, building a community whose passion and creativity affects political and industry change.
Interns will be exposed to many facets of the entertainment and political arenas.
This position presents a great opportunity for someone who would like to develop relationships with industry professionals in LA and DC, and enhance their knowledge of major topics within both industries.
There are three types of internships available:
Hollywood Hill Headquarters Internship
Duties will include researching various global entertainment topics, political/social policy issues and strategic analysis of various topics concerning Washington, DC, assisting at events, database management and other office assignments as necessary. Interns must have a proven record of reliability, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and commit to at least 15-20 hours a week. This is a Los Angeles-based internship.
Journalism Internship
The hub for the Hollywood Hill is its website which serves as a portal for the entertainment industry. We are looking for journalism and creative writing students interested in creating and editing content for the website. Position will include creating topics, conducting interviews of entertainment and political figures, and generating editorial content. Journalism interns will be expected to attend weekly sessions and one-on-one meetings with supervisors, but may be able to work from home. Applicants must have a superior understanding of popular culture and politics, and provide 2 writing samples with resume and cover letter. Los Angeles and DC internships available.
Web Internship
Web Interns needed to assist in building Flash presentations, presentation and collateral layouts using Quark Express and updating and expanding our website (HTML/PHP). Interns must have a proven record of reliability. This is a Los Angeles-based internship.
