Working Title PLAY AGAIN
Logline At a time when children spend more time in the virtual world than the natural world, PLAY AGAIN unplugs a group of tech savy teens and takes them on their first wilderness adventure, documenting the wonder that comes from time spent in nature and inspiring action for a sustainable future.
Summary One generation from now most people in the United States will have spent more time in the virtual world than in nature. A whole generation of children is growing up disconnected from the natural world, and we have yet to witness the full ramifications of this trend.
Children need nature as desperately as the natural world needs them. We can drive less, develope renewable energy, and write to our policymakers - we have to. But we cannot forget the role our children play, for children are the future stewards of our planet.
"What they do not know, they will not protect, and what they do not protect, they will lose.” (Charles Jordon, The Conservation Society, PLAY AGAIN)
PLAY AGAIN is a character-driven documentary that follows 6 teens, all heavy screen users. They are “the average American child”. We see them unplugged and taken on their first wilderness adventure - no bathrooms, no electricity, no cell phone coverage- just the vastness of an Oregon forest. Through the voices of children and leading experts, we investigate the consequences of a childhood removed from nature.

Description of Needs
Our most pressing need is for funding, to complete post-production, in order to meet our goal, to have the film prepared for festivals in the fall. We have a dedicated team in place and operating.
We would also be interested in teaming with like-minded individuals/sponsors that could brand/market the film with outdoor organizations such as Patagonia.

Working Title Small Change: World of Difference
Logline "Small Change: World of Difference" celebrates Muhammad Yunus’ successful microcredit model and his expansive vision of social business. As one of the world’s leading innovators, Yunus continues to provide solutions across multiple sectors from education to healthcare to energy sustainability.
Summary Nobel Peace Prize winners Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Bank have served over 7.84 million people in loans totaling $7.97 billion in Bangladesh. Inspired by Prof. Yunus, I wanted to learn how this humanitarian could contribute so much to our world’s economy. His microcredit and social business ideologies are the leading solutions in eliminating poverty, improving education, creating sustainability, and tackling other universal issues. When these major problems can seem overwhelming, his simple solutions work by tapping into the potential inherent in every person.
Financial/Distribution Details We are still looking for $200,000 in finishing funds and outreach support. I have been creating alliances with social organizations so that the word of mouth about the film will be in place when the film is finished, so that we can hit the ground running. I have non-profit status through the 501(c)3 Meaningful Media, so all donations are tax-deductible.
Seeking: Partial Financing
Compensation Anyone who brings in significant financial support will be credited in the film and we can discuss the level of financial compensation based on deals brought to the table.
